Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the services and platform provided by Streamify GmbH ("Streamify," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy.
Streamify provides a no-code platform for building video streaming platforms. As a platform provider, we are committed to ensuring that our services are used responsibly and lawfully. You are responsible for all content and activity on the streaming platforms you build using Streamify.
1. Prohibited Content
You must not use the Streamify platform to create, upload, store, distribute, or make available any content that:
1.1 Illegal Content
- Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Promotes, facilitates, or instructs illegal activities
- Constitutes or facilitates money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion
- Involves the sale or distribution of controlled substances, illegal drugs, or unauthorized pharmaceuticals
1.2 Harmful and Abusive Content
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any form of child exploitation
- Promotes or glorifies violence, terrorism, or extremism
- Constitutes hate speech or incites discrimination, hostility, or violence against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Contains threats, harassment, bullying, or intimidation directed at individuals or groups
- Promotes self-harm or suicide
1.3 Deceptive Content
- Is fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive
- Constitutes phishing or social engineering attacks
- Contains malware, viruses, trojans, or other harmful software
- Impersonates any person or entity, or falsely claims or misrepresents an affiliation with any person or entity
1.4 Privacy-Violating Content
- Infringes upon the privacy rights of others
- Contains personal data of third parties without their consent
- Includes unauthorized recordings or surveillance of individuals
- Doxes or exposes private information about individuals without their consent
1.5 Sexually Explicit Content
- Contains pornographic or sexually explicit material, unless the platform operator has verified that all depicted individuals are adults and have given informed consent, and the content complies with all applicable laws
- Contains non-consensual intimate imagery (revenge pornography)
1.6 Intellectual Property Violations
- Infringes upon copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights of any third party
- Contains pirated or unauthorized copies of copyrighted works
- Circumvents digital rights management (DRM) or content protection mechanisms
2. Prohibited Conduct
You must not engage in the following conduct when using our platform:
2.1 System Abuse
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Streamify systems, networks, accounts, or data
- Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with security features of the platform
- Introducing viruses, worms, malware, or other harmful code into our systems
- Conducting vulnerability scans, penetration tests, or security assessments against our infrastructure without our prior written consent
- Overloading, flooding, or otherwise interfering with the availability or performance of our services (including denial-of-service attacks)
2.2 Abuse of Service
- Using the platform to send unsolicited bulk messages or spam
- Scraping, crawling, or automatically collecting data from the platform or from platforms built with Streamify without authorization
- Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing our services without our prior written consent
- Using the platform in a way that consumes excessive resources or degrades the experience for other users
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, bans, or usage limits
2.3 Fraudulent Activity
- Engaging in any form of payment fraud, including using stolen payment credentials
- Manipulating analytics, views, or engagement metrics
- Creating fake accounts or generating artificial traffic
- Engaging in deceptive practices related to pricing, advertising, or product descriptions on your streaming platform
3. Copyright and DMCA Compliance
3.1 Respect for Intellectual Property
You are responsible for ensuring that all content on your Streamify-powered platform complies with applicable copyright laws. You must have the legal right to use, distribute, and display all content you make available through your platform.
3.2 DMCA and EU Copyright Directive Compliance
Streamify respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the EU Copyright Directive (Directive (EU) 2019/790) regarding the handling of copyright infringement claims.
3.3 Filing a Copyright Complaint
If you believe that content on a Streamify-powered platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to:

Your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the infringing material and its location on the platform
- Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
3.4 Counter-Notification
If you believe that content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification with the required information as specified in the DMCA or applicable EU legislation. We will forward counter-notifications to the original complainant.
3.5 Repeat Infringers
We maintain a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. Repeated violations of copyright law will result in permanent suspension of your Streamify account.
4. Content Moderation and Reporting
4.1 Your Responsibility
As a platform operator using Streamify, you are responsible for moderating the content on your streaming platform in compliance with applicable laws, including the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) where applicable. This includes implementing appropriate content moderation processes for user-generated content on your platform.
4.2 Reporting Violations
If you encounter content on a Streamify-powered platform that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to:

- The URL or location of the violating content
- A description of the violation
- Any supporting evidence or documentation
We will review reports promptly and take appropriate action.
5. Enforcement
5.1 Monitoring
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor content and activity on our platform for compliance with this Acceptable Use Policy. Monitoring may include automated detection systems and manual review.
5.2 Actions We May Take
If we determine that you have violated this Acceptable Use Policy, we may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:
- Issue a warning to you
- Remove or disable access to the offending content
- Temporarily suspend your account or specific features
- Permanently terminate your account
- Report the violation to law enforcement authorities
- Take legal action against you
The specific action taken will depend on the severity of the violation, your history of compliance, and the potential harm to others.
5.3 No Obligation to Monitor
While we reserve the right to monitor and enforce this policy, we are not responsible for content created by our users. Platform operators who build streaming platforms with Streamify are responsible for the content on their platforms.
5.4 Appeals
If you believe that enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting us at hello@streamify.com within 30 days of the action. We will review your appeal and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
6. Cooperation with Authorities
We cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable law. We may disclose your information to authorities when:
- Required by a valid legal order, subpoena, or court order
- Necessary to prevent imminent harm to individuals
- Required to report suspected criminal activity, particularly involving child exploitation
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you through the platform or via email. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
